“8-1-1 is a free-of-charge provincial health information and advice phone line available in British Columbia. The 8-1-1 phone line is operated by HealthLink BC, which is part of the Ministry of Health. By calling 8-1-1, you can speak to a health service navigator, who can help you find health information and services; or connect you directly with a registered nurse, a registered dietitian, a qualified exercise professional, or a pharmacist. Any one of these healthcare professionals will help you get the information you need to manage your health concerns, or those of your family.”

S.A.F.E.R provides free time-limited counselling for those feeling suicidal, concerned about a friend or family member, or experiencing suicide bereavement. To refer yourself to S.A.F.E.R., contact the Access and Assessment Centre (AAC).

Indigenous Peoples Resources & Support


“WAVAW’s Indigenous Counselling Program provides one-to-one counselling for Indigenous people of marginalized genders, including trans and cis women, as well as trans, non-binary, and Two Spirit people seeking health, wellness, and safety.”


Plurality/Multiplicity


Introduction to multiplicity/plurality, including dissociative identity disorder as well as non-pathologizing frameworks.


Discusses the intersection between transgender and plurality/multiple identity experiences. Includes common myths affecting people with both plural and trans experiences, and information on how advocates and support services can be better allies.
